Janis had it right. We never know how much we have till we lose it. In my twenties I could go from one day to the next not worried about income, housing or my retirement. Now I find myself considering how I will make do.
No medical, no weekly check, not able to support a lifestyle that I have become accustomed to.
That’s the point. The more I made the more I spent. Life style’s can be addictive, and I admit I’m addicted to my standard. It’s not extravagant, but much more comfortable than the majority of the world’s population. I need to relearn how to enjoy more with less. and appreciate what I have.
