Supreme Court To Hear School Strip-Search Case

Today the Supreme Court hears arguments on whether school officials may may strip-search a student based on the suspicion that the student may have drugs in their possession.

I don’t care what kind of evidence they may have, if they determine that a student needs to searched they should contact the parents and the police. It’s humiliating for a person of 13 to be searched in such a manner by people that they come into contact with each day.

I hope that the court rules against the school on this.
